This data is stored anonymously in accordance with the German Telemedia Act (TMG). The creation of personal user profiles is thus excluded.

Data transfer to third parties

We only pass on the data we have collected and stored to third parties if we are legally entitled or obliged to do so (e.g. for contractual or law enforcement purposes) or if you expressly request this. In these cases, we strictly comply with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation. The scope of data transfer is limited to a minimum.

We only collect personal data via our contact form if it is necessary for the purpose you have requested (contacting us). We use your personal data to answer your inquiry. To use our contact form, we need your name and e-mail address. You can provide us with further details such as your company address, but you do not have to.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that are stored on a visitor’s hard drive. They allow information to be retained for a certain period of time and identify the visitor’s computer. For better user guidance and individual performance presentation, we use permanent cookies. Furthermore, we use so-called session cookies, which are automatically deleted when you close your browser. You can set your browser to inform you about the placement of cookies. This makes the use of cookies transparent for you. You can also deactivate the storage of cookies in your browser settings or set your browser so that cookies are only stored for the duration of the respective connection to the Internet.

Google Analytics

In order to tailor our website to your needs, we create pseudonymous usage profiles with the help of Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses „cookies“, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, since we have activated IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and only shortened there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage.

You can object to the creation of the pseudonymous usage profiles at any time. There are several ways to do this:

1.) One way to object to web analysis by Google Analytics is to set an opt-out cookie, which instructs Google not to store or use your data for web analysis purposes. Please note that with this solution, web analytics will not take place only as long as the opt-out cookie is stored by the browser.

2.) You can also prevent the storage of cookies used for profiling by adjusting your browser software accordingly.

3rd) Depending on the browser you use, you have the option to install a browser plugin that prevents tracking. To do so, please click here and install the browser plugin available there.

Social media

For reasons of data protection, we have deliberately decided against integrating social plugins directly into our site. When you call up our page, no data is therefore transmitted to providers of social media services as a matter of principle. Profiling by third parties is therefore excluded. However, we do not want to deny these opportunities to those visitors who would like to use social plugins. We therefore offer you the option of activating them at various points on our website. Please note that activating a social plugin may result in certain data being transmitted to the provider of the social media service. These are, for example:

The address of the website on which the activated social plugin is located,
Date and time of the call of the website or the activation of the social plugin,
information about the browser and operating system used or also their current IP address.
If you are already logged in to the associated social media service at the time of activation of the social plugin, its provider is also able to determine your user name and, if applicable, your real name from the above-mentioned data. This data may also be processed by the provider in countries outside the European Union. We have no influence on the scope, type and purpose of the data processing by the provider. Please note that providers of social media services are quite capable of creating pseudonymized and even individualized usage profiles with the above-mentioned data. You can deactivate the activated social plugin at any time. However, this does not affect the data that has already been transferred to the provider of the social media service.

You can recognize a deactivated social plugin by the fact that it is grayed out or the associated button is inactive (initial position on the left). No external content is loaded and no data is transferred. When you click on the grayed-out social plugin or the associated switch for the first time, you activate it – the social plugin is then displayed in color or the associated switch is activated (switch position on the right). Data is already being transmitted to the provider of the social media service. You can now use the social plugin with a second click.

After activating a social plugin, its state is automatically saved for the website for the provider in question. For this purpose, a cookie is set for your browser, for example Internet Explorer.

If you visit this website again at a later time, the relevant social plugin is loaded in the active state and can be used without being activated again. Data is then transferred directly to the provider of the social media service when the page is loaded. By clicking on the switch icon to the left of the button of the social plugin in question, the active state of the plugin can be deactivated again at any time.

Data is only stored beyond this if

  • there are legal obligations to retain data (e.g. according to AO and HGB);

  • the deletion would be contrary to the legitimate interest of the data subject; or would be contrary to;
    or
  • another exception pursuant to Art. 17 (3) DSGVO applies.

Your rights as a data subject

As a user, you have the right to request information about what data about you is stored by us and for what purpose it is stored.
